Summer is coming up really fast. Are you signed up for summer camp? IF not, you’re missing out on really fun stuff. Our summer program theme is “Survival.” Miss Aroura has put together some interesting and fun things to do this summer, all centered around “Survival,” just like the TV Show.
Children will use their imagination to travel around the world with us and team up with their peers to complete fun challenges that focus on skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, self-esteem building, creative problem solving, resilience, and more! Challenges will vary and may include activities such as team construction tasks, puzzle-solving, science experiments, cooking simple recipes from around the world, creating projects, sports challenges, and developing life and survival skills.
We will have “Tribal Council Meetings” where we set our expectations for the day and introduce the day’s challenge or activity to the children. This will be a time for the children to decide how they want to spend their independent time.
